Nollywood actress and producer Ruth Kadiri has shared her excitement after receiving special recognition from YouTube for her contributions as a digital storyteller.
In a recent Instagram post, Kadiri revealed she was celebrated by YouTube just ahead of its 20th anniversary. She was named among four influential female creators who are reshaping the platform through powerful storytelling and fostering global cultural connections.
Kadiri, who runs the popular YouTube channel RUTHKADIRI247, credited the milestone to her passion for filmmaking and the support of her viewers.

In celebration of the recognition, the actress—who is also a mother of two—announced a cash giveaway, offering “50k for 4 people each” and invited her fans to comment on their favourite films from her channel.

EFCC Arraigns Alleged Leader of $2.5m Crypto and Romance Scam Syndicate in Lagos
The Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday arraigned Friday Audu, identified as the alleged ringleader of a vast cryptocurrency and romance scam syndicate, before Justice Rahman Oshodi at the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos.
Audu, along with his company, Genting Nigeria Limited, faces a seven-count charge bordering on possession of fraudulent documents, unlawful retention of proceeds of crime, and forgery.
