A fresh bandit attack has left several communities in Zamfara in terror and anguish.

According to reports, the Gunmen were said to have attacked seven different communities in Zamfara State, as a form of revenge on the Nigerian troops.

This revenge comes after the men of the 1 Brigade killed five bandits leaders during a sting operation in the state, recovering weapons and ammunitions.

In recent news update, no less than 12 people lost their lives, with a yet-to-be-ascertained number of people Kidnapped by the assailants.

According to security analyst, Zagazola Makama the gunmen attacked Kurukuru, Dogon Daji, Dan Hayin Zamfarawa, Tungar Zabo, Burmukai, and Dambawa in Maru LGA of Zamfara state on May 5, at about 1:30pm.

 

Troops have been deployed to the location to enhance peace, as more investigation are ongoing to find the abductors.
