Repent Within Two Months Or Face Serious Consequences, Gov Matawalle Issues Ultimatum To Bandits | Daily Report Nigeria

Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, has issued two months ultimatum to all bandits in the state to either surrender their weapons and repent or face severe consequences from security agencies.

Addressing journalists in Gusau House on Tuesday, March 9, the Governor said his government would punish any bandit that refuses to surrender within the stipulated time.

He stressed that the Federal Government would soon deploy additional 6,000 soldiers to help the state fight the recalcitrant bandits.

He also called on local government sole administrators and traditional rulers to monitor their respective areas and report to security agencies if there is a planned attack to occur.
