The police force in Delta State have arrested two people for alleged kidnap and robbery in the state.

According to reports, the suspects were said to have withdrawn the sum of N70 million from the victim’s account.
Men of the Delta State Police command have arrested two people for kidnap, amongst other crimes.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the duo, identified as Maxwell Mathew and Samuel Mathew, who are brothers were said to have kidnapped one Patrick Omoregie.

The kidnap was reported to have happened at Abraka in Ethiope-East Local Government Area of the state.
It was gathered that the duo also made the suspect withdraw the sum of N70m from his bank account at gunpoint, before proceeding to collect his GLC 300 Benz, an iPhone 16 Plus, and N150,000 in cash.
Confirming the incident, human rights activist, Comrade Israel Joe said the suspects were arrested in an hotel while trying to sell the victims car on Wednesday, May 6, 2025.
Confessing to the crime, the suspects said they used part of the money to pay their mother’s rent in Abraka.
The police have recovered about N30m out of the N70m allegedly transferred from the victim’s bank account.
The matter was transferred to the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, Delta State Command for further investigation.
Two Arrested For Vandalising Roadside Barriers in Lagos
Officers from the Isokoko Division of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested two men for allegedly vandalising concrete roadside barriers in the Ile-Zik area of the state.
The suspects, identified as 26-year-old Peter James and 24-year-old Lesipi Adamu, were apprehended on April 22, 2025, after police received credible intelligence from vigilant members of the public.
