The police force in Lagos state have arrested a suspected cultists in the state.

The suspect was arrested for his alleged involvement in cultism, as well as the possession of human organ.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the suspect, identified as Samson Oghenebreme, a 25-year-old was arrested in Odomola community, Epe, Lagos state on April 25.

Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the state police command, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin said the suspect was arrested following credible intelligence, and upon arrest, it was gathered that the suspect was transporting the organ from Edo state Edo state to a native doctor for the purpose of money-making rituals.

 

He added that the organ has been deposited at the General Hospital, Epe, for preservation while the case has been transferred to Edo State Police Command for continuation of investigation and prosecution.
