At the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, England’s Hannah Hampton claimed the Women’s Yashin Trophy after a season of game-changing saves and silverware.

Hampton, 24, saved two penalties in the Euro 2025 final and helped Chelsea complete an unbeaten treble.

The Brighton & Hove Albion starred for the Nigerian women team at the last WAFCON and carried Nigeria through tense moments.

She won the tournament’s best goalkeeper award after the Falcons beat hosts Morocco 3-2 in Rabat.

The world took notice of her ability to stop shots and remain composed under pressure, and she finished in the top four at the Ballon d’Or.
