Nigerian singer Portable has revealed that he earned ₦70 million from his much-talked-about boxing match with Speed Darlington.
The fight, which took place on April 18, concluded with a technical knockout in favor of Portable, drawing significant attention on social media due to the brewing tension between the two artists.
In a recent interview shared on X, Portable gave a detailed breakdown of how he made his money.

He explained that the organizers offered him ₦30 million just for agreeing to take part in the match. He also received an additional ₦20 million as a reward for his victory over Speed Darlington.
In a surprising twist, Portable claimed that Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning artist, sent him ₦20 million as a personal gift following his win.
He shared: “Them first give me N30M make I accept say I go fight. Them come say, if I win, N20M, that’s 50. Na him uncle Burna, after I fight I beat am [Speed Darlington] I even wound am, send 20 million. I use him make N70 million around 3 days.”
This revelation has sparked a flurry of reactions from fans, with many expressing surprise at the amount Portable earned from the fight.
