Raphinha will be out for about three weeks after he pulled a hamstring in the La Liga victory.

That absence weakens the attack and forces the coaches to shuffle their forward options quickly.

Garcia injured the meniscus in his left knee and will miss between four and six weeks.

Barcelona Suffer Raphinha and Garcia Injury Setbacks

Barcelona will hand the gloves to Polish veteran Wojciech Szczesny while Marc-André ter Stegen continues to recover from a back operation.

Raphinha could return for the big game with Real Madrid on October 26 if his recovery goes to plan.

Meanwhile, winger Lamine Yamal will rejoin the squad for Sunday’s game against Real Sociedad after missing four matches.

Hey! I’m back,” – wrote the teenage star in a post on Instagram, alluding to his return.

Barcelona trail La Liga leaders Real Madrid by two points and began their Champions League campaign with a 2-1 win at Newcastle.

As the schedule tightens, these injuries will test the squad’s depth and the manager’s rotation choices.
