Nollywood actress and social media influencer Monalisa Stephen has reportedly passed away, with details of her death surfacing online.
Seun Oloketuyi, who serves as the CEO of Best of Nollywood (BON), announced the sad news in a Facebook post on Wednesday, May 14.
He revealed that Monalisa died a day earlier—on Tuesday, May 13, 2025—in Lagos.

According to him, the actress had been dealing with serious health issues, including low blood sugar and internal bleeding, before her untimely death.
Oloketuyi stated in his post: “Brand influencer Monalisa Ayobami Stephen is dead, she died yesterday in Lagos after losing the fight against low sugar and internal bleeding. Her immediate younger sister confirmed the death of this hardworking and beautiful soul.”
Her passing has left fans and colleagues in mourning, as tributes continue to pour in across various platforms.
