Nigeria Aims to Bring Formula 1 Grand Prix Back to African Soil After 30 Years.

According to Shehu Dikko, the chairman of NSC, this Formula 1 Grand Prix project will promote tourism, attract foreign investment, and involve more young Nigerians while also kick-starting infrastructure development with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Initiative.

The F1 CEO, Mr. Stefano Domenicali, Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time champion, and good circuit designers from Tilke Engineers & Architects have been invited to visit sites in Abuja and participate in planning discussions.

With strong government and industry backing, Africa’s largest economy believes it can meet Formula 1’s demands and land a long-awaited race.
