Tanzanian singer Juma Jux and his Nigerian wife, Priscilla Ojo, are expecting their first child together — a joyful milestone that comes just weeks after their grand multi-country wedding celebrations.
The couple shared the news on Thursday via Instagram, posting radiant photos of Priscilla showing off her baby bump. In the photos, the soon-to-be parents were all smiles as they embraced the next phase of their journey.
“Mom and Dad. Blessed. Grateful. Thankful,” they captioned the post.

Juma Jux and Priscilla officially tied the knot in a series of ceremonies beginning with an Islamic traditional wedding in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in February. This was followed by their white and traditional weddings in Lagos, Nigeria, in April. They wrapped up the festivities with a grand celebration back in Tanzania in May.
The couple went public with their relationship in July 2024, making headlines across East and West Africa.
Priscilla Ojo, born on March 13, 2001, is a graduate of Media and Theater Arts from Babcock University. She began her acting career at age 14 with the film Beyond Disability, a role that earned her a nomination for Best Child Actress at the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.
Juma Jux, whose real name is Juma Mussa Mkambala, started his music career at the age of 16 and signed his first record deal with A.M Records in 2008. He has since become one of Tanzania’s leading R&B stars.

Panic and chaos erupted in Tulu, a community in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State, on Monday after a 19-year-old girl, Esther Gambo, allegedly murdered two young girls and abducted a newborn baby.
The suspect, said to be a native of Lemoro village, reportedly lured the victims—seven-year-olds Khadija Sama’ila and A’isha Dahiru—from Unguwan Sarkin Yaki to a nearby maize farm. There, she allegedly hacked them to death with a machete before fleeing with a newborn belonging to one Nafisa Dahiru.
