Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has called on Northern political leaders to rally behind the President’s re-election ambition ahead of the 2027 general elections, stating that the region has recorded significant gains under the current administration.
Speaking during the 2025 Dialogue Session of the Northern Caucus of the National Forum of Former Legislators held in Abuja, Gbajabiamila described Tinubu as a “national leader” who has prioritised inclusive governance and delivered results across all geopolitical zones.

“President Tinubu is not just a Southern leader; he is a national leader who has carried every region along,” Gbajabiamila said.
He argued that the President’s performance justifies continuity and urged the North to ensure that Tinubu is given the opportunity to “finish what he started.”
“We are laying solid foundations today, and it is only right that the President is allowed to finish what he started,” he added.
