A New directive from the Kano State Film and Video Censorship Board has ordered the closure of eight entertainment centers in the state.
According to reports from the Executive Secretary of the agency, Abba El-Mustapha, the order comes as a means to uphold cultural, religious, and moral values in Kano state.
This action reflects our commitment to ensuring that Kano’s entertainment industry operates within the boundaries of our laws and moral standards.

“The banned centres have repeatedly flouted the board’s guidelines, and their operations are no longer permissible.
“The eight proscribed entertainment centres include:
Hamdala Entertainment – Ungoggo
Lady J Entertainment – Sanya Olu
Dan Hausa Entertainment – Sanya Olu
Ni’ima Entertainment – Zungeru
Ariya Entertainment – Abedi Sabon Gari
Babbangida Entertainment – Balatus
Harsashi Entertainment – Ebedi Sabon Gari
Wazobiya Entertainment – Sanya Olu”
He further warned that any attempt to continue the operation would result to legal actions being taken on them.
“Our monitoring teams are vigilant. Any individual or group caught attempting to bypass this ban will be arrested and prosecuted,” he added.
Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol Prices by N15 Nationwide
Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the pump price of petrol by N15 per litre across all regions in Nigeria.
The new prices range from N875 to N905 per litre, depending on the location, with Lagos residents paying N875 and those in the North East and South-South paying N905.
