The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Bauchi State Command, has arrested two suspects and recovered a vehicle loaded with vandalized railway tracks in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area.
Spokesperson for the command, Saminu Yusuf, confirmed the development in a statement released on Sunday. He said the arrest was made on Tuesday after operatives acted on a tip-off from members of the public.

According to him, a Peugeot J5 rental vehicle with registration number KTG 40 XF was intercepted, loaded with 80 pieces of railway track removed from a railway line, along with four bags of charcoal.
Yusuf emphasized the NSCDC’s continued commitment to protecting critical national infrastructure and government assets. He also appealed to residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities promptly to security agencies to help prevent acts of sabotage and vandalism.
