Reality TV personality Nina Ivy has advised parents to be cautious about placing complete trust in medical professionals, sharing her emotional journey with her premature son, Denzel, as a powerful example.
In a recent post, Nina revealed that doctors once told her Denzel might never walk and advised that he begin therapy.
However, she chose not to accept the diagnosis, firmly believing her son would develop at his own pace. To the surprise of medical experts, Denzel began walking before his first birthday—proving her instincts right.

Reflecting on the experience, Nina emphasized the importance of parental intuition and warned against the growing trend of profit-driven healthcare. She claimed that some doctors prescribe unnecessary treatments and medications, which could potentially do more harm than good.
“I always tell people not to blindly believe everything doctors say,” she said. “Many are more focused on making money than truly caring for your physical and mental health.”
Nina encouraged her followers to stay informed, conduct personal research, and not rush to the hospital for every concern. “Trust your gut. Not every health issue requires immediate medical intervention,” she added.
Her story has sparked conversations among parents and caregivers, many of whom relate to the challenges of navigating healthcare decisions for their children.
