Senator Agom Jarigbe, representing Cross River North senatorial district, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The development was confirmed on Wednesday, marking a significant gain for the APC in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly.
