The movement affirms Tompolo’s support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and commitment to national peace.
The PBAT Door To Door Movement has dismissed reports alleging that its Grand Patron, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Government demanding the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
In a statement signed on Sunday by its National Coordinator, Mr. Sunday Asuku, the group condemned the publication as “false, malicious, and the handiwork of desperate propagandists, fake news merchants, and agents of disunity.”
Asuku said the claim was designed to mislead the public and malign the reputation of Tompolo, whom he described as a man deeply committed to peace and national development.
“These elements are bent on creating tension and undermining the patriotic efforts of a man who has remained an icon of peace, unity, and development,” he said.
He added that the false report was politically motivated, aimed at discrediting Tompolo’s unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“It is evident that Chief Tompolo’s unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda has unsettled certain groups uncomfortable with his growing influence in advancing national stability and economic progress,” Asuku added.
The statement clarified that at no point did Chief Tompolo issue any directive or make a statement regarding the legal case involving Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, stressing that the matter remains within the jurisdiction of a competent court of law.
The group urged the Department of State Services (DSS) and other security agencies to investigate and prosecute those responsible for what it described as “a reckless act of misinformation that threatens national unity.”
“The reckless use of social media to circulate divisive propaganda not only undermines the integrity of public discourse but also poses a serious threat to Nigeria’s peace and development,” Asuku warned.
Reaffirming Tompolo’s commitment to national peace and progress, the PBAT Door To Door Movement said he remains focused on consolidating the gains of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly through peacebuilding efforts in the Niger Delta region.
The group urged Nigerians to disregard the false report and verify all information before sharing, emphasising its dedication to promoting peace, good governance, and truthful communication in the national interest.
