  • Rev. Dachomo alleges Fulani terrorists are crossing into Plateau communities.
  • He links the attacks to Donald Trump’s recent warning about Nigeria’s security situation.
  • Security agencies earlier dismissed his alert, calling it false propaganda.
  • Recent killings in Barkin Ladi appear to validate the Plateau clergyman’s warning.

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a vocal Plateau State clergyman and regional leader of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi, has claimed that armed Fulani terrorists are being moved into Plateau communities to kill Christians ahead of possible U.S. action in Nigeria.

In a video he shared on social media, the Plateau clergyman alleged that thousands of armed groups, mainly Fulani militia have set up camps near border communities. According to him, these attackers are gradually advancing through coordinated assaults and land occupation.

Dachomo said the attackers and their sponsors are rushing to cause maximum destruction before the United States government decides on any action following Trump’s comments.

“Already, they have declared war on Plateau State,” he said. “Just last night, we buried someone, and two more people were killed again.”

He also claimed the suspected Fulani terrorists were trooping into Dorowa and nearby villages from Fulani-dominated areas of Bauchi State.

“They are entering in their thousands,” he stated. “They are camping behind Dorowa in Nyarwei village. What do you expect us to do? We will defend ourselves, even if it means dying.”

He appealed for prayers, saying prayer remains stronger than weapons. “Your prayers are more powerful than AK-47s and rocket launchers,” he added.

This is not the first time the Plateau clergyman has raised such an alarm. In October, he released a similar warning, claiming an insider revealed that Fulani terrorists planned to attack multiple communities.

However, the warning was dismissed by security agencies, who accused him of spreading falsehood and creating fear.

In their statement at the time, security authorities described him as “an alarmist,” claiming his words were crafted to provoke ethnic and religious tension and undermine confidence in the military.

They stated: “The viral video is propaganda intended to inflame public sentiment. Rev. Dachomo’s accusation is baseless.”

Yet, on the same night security agencies condemned his warning, three communities in Barkin Ladi were attacked simultaneously, and 17 people were killed, confirming his earlier alarm.
