A Nigerian man, Ochiegbu Marvelous, has given a new update on the dramatic property dispute between his sister and the woman who was reportedly her late husband’s side chick.
Last month, Ochiegbu raised alarm on Facebook, saying the side chick had been fighting to take possession of the car, container, and other belongings left behind by his sister’s late husband. She had even taken the matter to the police in Aba, accusing the grieving widow in an attempt to seize the property.

In his latest update shared on Tuesday, November 18, Ochiegbu said the woman presented several documents to the police claiming ownership of the items. However, when the case was transferred to Zone 9 Umuahia for proper investigation, officers discovered the documents were fake.
He explained that the side chick had initially used her connections to drag his sister before the RRS unit in Aba, but he avoided engaging directly and instead reported the case to Zone 9. According to him, the officers acted immediately and arrested the side chick along with her associates.

Ochiegbu added that the Anti-Cult Unit of Zone 9, led by Supol Bestman, handled the investigation and quickly detected that the receipts and claims presented by the woman were forged. She also allegedly claimed that her son in Lagos purchased the vehicle and container for her, and even insisted that the late husband worked under her.
Following the findings, the woman and her current boyfriend, said to be a pastor were arrested for alleged forgery while the investigation continues.
Ochiegbu expressed gratitude to the police for handling the matter properly and preventing what he described as a deliberate attempt to dispossess his sister of her late husband’s property.
