President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has forwarded a list of three ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for confirmation, marking the first such appointments since he assumed office nearly two years ago.

The announcement was made on Wednesday by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during plenary, following the formal reading of the letter from President Tinubu.

The initial list includes Kayode Are from Ogun State, Aminu Dalhatu from Jigawa, and Ayodele Oke. Akpabio noted that additional nominations are expected in due course.
