Well-known Plateau clergyman, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, has cried out again over what he describes as a renewed plot by Boko Haram fighters to eliminate him. He alleges that the terrorist group has placed a reward on his head after he exposed multiple videos showing attacks, mass killings and burials of Christian victims in Plateau and the Middle Belt.

Rev. Dachomo, who serves as the Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, made these claims in a video that circulated widely on Thursday across social media platforms.

According to him, his continuous campaigns against the killings have not only angered terrorists, but also drawn backlash from government-linked individuals who have allegedly warned him to stop sharing those videos.

He further revealed that his Facebook and Instagram pages were taken down. He added that Meta stopped him from posting such content, claiming they could jeopardize Nigeria’s internal security.

In the video, Rev. Dachomo insisted that the information about the bounty was credible and came from reliable internal sources.

“Boko Haram, the Islamic terrorists, have placed a bounty on my head, and anyone who kills me first will be rewarded,” he said.

He also made it clear that no threat would silence him, stating that his mission is to keep exposing what he calls ongoing genocide against Christians.

“Before I embarked on this journey of exposing Christian genocide in Plateau and Nigeria, I knew my life would be in danger, but I do not fear death,” he declared.

The cleric said no amount of pressure, intimidation or personal danger would stop him from speaking out.

“This is not just about me; it is about every Nigerian who desires peace and safety. We need support to stand against this terrorism,” he emphasized.
