The Command acknowledged the retirees as the women who laid the foundation for today’s generation of strong and influential female police officers.

As part of the celebration, the women officers visited the Nigeria Police Secondary School in Gusau, where they held interactive sessions with students, especially young girls about the future of policing and the expanding role of women in national security.

They encouraged students to pursue careers in the Force and highlighted how women are now excelling in specialised units and leadership positions.

In another act of service, the policewomen visited the Federal Medical Centre, Gusau, where they offered financial assistance to patients struggling to pay medical bills. The gesture was aimed at strengthening the bond between the police and their host communities.
