Bwala said the Tinubu administration has already embarked on decisive security measures aimed at exposing the networks enabling terrorism, banditry, and related violent crimes.

“In the coming days, Nigerians will know who the terrorists are and those funding them,” he stated.
He noted that government agencies are intensifying operations against armed groups whose activities — including kidnappings, killings, and coordinated raids — continue to endanger communities nationwide.
According to him, terrorism remains a global threat that requires strong international partnerships, as extremist activities increasingly cut across borders.
“Since the events of 9/11, terrorism has been treated as a global security issue. Any nation where terrorists operate becomes a concern to the rest of the world,” he said.
Bwala added that global powers have continued to support countries like Nigeria, especially as radical networks previously dominant in the Middle East shift their operations toward the Sahel region, creating new centres of instability.
His remarks come after renewed violent attacks in parts of Kwara, Kogi, Kebbi, and Katsina states, where bandits have carried out deadly ambushes and kidnappings in recent days.
