The development comes amid strict enforcement of Governor Umo Eno’s directive banning masqueraders across the state, following repeated cases of harassment, destruction of property, and clashes linked to masquerade performances.
The Command also warned residents to abide by the directive and promptly report any violations or disruptive behaviour to security agencies.
According to the police, the ban remains in force as part of measures to maintain peace and prevent violence in communities across the state.
