Governor Siminalayi Fubara has formally registered as a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State.

Registration took place Friday at the Government House, Port Harcourt, where Fubara placed his thumbprint in the party’s register.

Fubara said his defection from PDP to APC is aimed at serving the people of Rivers State and as a gesture of appreciation to President Bola Tinubu.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has officially registered Governor Siminalayi Fubara as a party member.
According to a photograph shared by Tony Okocha, media aide to the state APC chairman, Fubara is seen placing his thumbprint in the party register at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Friday.

Governor Fubara had previously announced his intention to join the APC earlier this week. He explained that his move from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is driven by the interest of Rivers State residents and as a mark of gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, whom he credited for his continued tenure as governor.
