Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has accused her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of deliberately exposing their children to public attention amid an ongoing custody dispute, claiming the move is causing emotional harm and unnecessary media scrutiny.
Regina Daniels made the allegations in an emotional post shared on her Instagram page, where she uploaded a video showing one of her sons crying out, “Mummy, come back.”

In a lengthy caption, the actress opened up about the pain of being separated from her children, stating that no mother can truly find peace while away from her kids, regardless of public perception.

While acknowledging that many people believe she appears happy, Regina said she made a conscious decision not to allow her pain to “define or imprison” her, which was why she initially remained silent about the situation.
She accused Ned Nwoko, a serving senator, of repeatedly posting their children online during a sensitive custody process, describing the act as a “deliberate pursuit of negative attention.”
“These actions make it reasonable to question whether his behaviour is motivated by public engagement rather than parental responsibility,”
Regina argued that as an experienced lawmaker, Nwoko would be fully aware that such public posts would attract intense media attention, yet continued regardless.
The actress further claimed that this was the last time she had been allowed any form of communication with her children.
According to her, Nwoko allegedly dismissed all her nannies and pressured them into making false allegations of violence and alcohol abuse against her, claims she strongly denied. She said the accusations were allegedly made in the presence of the children.

Regina also revealed that her estranged husband has filed for full custody, despite already having physical custody of the children. She questioned why she was being treated as a threat.
“I may be young, but I am such a mum. I enjoy being a mum, and I miss being a mum,” she said.
Despite the legal battle, Regina expressed hope and determination, insisting that she would not give up on her children.
“I will definitely see my kids soon,” she wrote.
As of the time of filing this report, Ned Nwoko and his representatives have not publicly responded to the allegations.
