Grammy-nominated Afrobeats superstar Davido has named Asake, Rema, and Omah Lay as the male artistes he believes are poised to become Nigeria’s next music greats. Speaking on comedian Carter Efe’s Twitch channel, Davido said his selection was based on the trio’s consistency, growth, and remarkable impact in recent years.
“Right now, for me, I say, between Asake, Omah Lay, or Rema. If you ask me, I think they’ve done exceptionally well,” he stated, noting that his comments focused specifically on male performers.
