“This budget reflects our resolve to consolidate the gains we have made while laying stronger foundations for sustainable growth,” Sani said.
Education emerged as the single largest beneficiary, taking 25 per cent of the budget, a decision the governor said was deliberate.
“We believe knowledge is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and securing the future of our children,” he explained.

Infrastructure development and rural transformation also received 25 per cent, aimed at opening up communities, improving connectivity, and boosting economic activities across the state.
The health sector was allocated 15 per cent, while agriculture and food security received 11.65 per cent, underscoring the administration’s focus on food production, farmer empowerment, and local economic growth.
Governor Sani added that the budget includes targeted funding for climate change initiatives, nutrition, and environmental sustainability, in line with global development realities.
Titled “The Budget of Consolidation and Transformation for Inclusive Development,” the spending plan also introduces ₦100 million for each ward in Kaduna State to fund community-selected projects.
“This is governance that listens, governance that includes, and governance that delivers,” the governor said.
He further stressed the government’s commitment to fiscal responsibility, revealing that no new loans were introduced and that ₦114.9 billion has already been spent on debt servicing.
“We are protecting the future of Kaduna State while responsibly meeting today’s needs,” Sani noted.
While expressing confidence in the budget, the governor said its success would depend on effective implementation and sustained collaboration with the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
“Together, we will deepen inclusion, consolidate transformation, and build a Kaduna State that truly works for all,” he assured.
