The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that its ongoing digital membership registration exercise is set to exceed 9 million registered members within the first two weeks.

National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda expressed confidence in the programme during a press briefing on Monday, while National Secretary Ajibola Basiru revealed that over 2 million Nigerians had already registered in the first week alone.

Basiru highlighted the importance of accurate membership data in enhancing party operations, stating, “We are happy to inform Nigerians that just a week into the exercise, over 2 million have registered. By next week, we expect 8–9 million members to be on board.”

The APC leadership also indicated that any state lagging behind in registration could see its coordinator replaced to boost mobilisation, ensuring nationwide participation ahead of upcoming elections.
