The form was obtained at the cost of ₦30 million, in line with the party’s guidelines for the local government elections.

The development drew significant attention within the state, given Osborn’s political background and family ties. He served as campaign director for his father during the 2019 governorship election, a role that placed him prominently within the APC’s political structure in Ebonyi.

Party sources confirmed that Osborn has also received the endorsement of Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, a move widely seen as strengthening his chances in the forthcoming party primaries.

Supporters at the APC secretariat described Osborn as a loyal party man with grassroots appeal, arguing that his experience in past campaigns and party activities has prepared him for leadership at the local government level.

With the purchase of the nomination form, Osborn Umahi becomes one of the leading aspirants for the Ohaozara LGA chairmanship seat, as political activities intensify ahead of the APC primaries in Ebonyi State.
