DELSU Registrar thanks NELFUND, urges continued collaboration
The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has released ₦392,876,550 in student loans to Delta State University.
In a statement shared on its official X account on Sunday, NELFUND said the funding will benefit 1,854 students, easing financial burdens and allowing them to focus on studies.

“Delta State University has received a students’ loan disbursement from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) totalling ₦392,876,550.00,” the statement read.
In an accompanying letter, DELSU Registrar, Mrs. Rufina Ofio, expressed gratitude on behalf of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Samuel O. Asagba.
She said the funding would significantly reduce financial stress on students and thanked NELFUND for supporting access to higher education.
