Ijaw Publishers’ Forum to Inaugurate New Leadership February 26 in Delta

The Ijaw Publishers Forum (IPF) announced the inauguration of its new leadership on February 26 in Delta State.

The event which would take place in Chief Tunde’s playground at Barracks junction in NPA, Warri is expected to draw prominent Ijaw leaders, stakeholders, and members, highlighting the importance of the transition process.

According to the statement, the Forum was established to give voice to the marginalized Ijaw nation and the Niger Delta region. IPF has been championing free press and journalists’ rights.

The forum’s focus areas include resource control, self-determination and accurate and balanced storytelling about the cause of the Ijaw people.
