- Fems Thrift claims she and friend were raped in Lagos
- Incident allegedly occurred at a fake modelling shoot
- Suspect reportedly used threats to seize personal files
- Victims call for justice and arrest of perpetrator
Popular content creator and thrift vendor Fems Thrift has alleged that she and a friend were r@ped after being lured to a fake modelling assignment in Ajao Estate on Sunday, February 8. The incident was shared by Fems on TikTok, drawing widespread attention online.
According to Fems, the ordeal began after a man contacted her on Instagram, claiming he had returned from the United Kingdom to start an international fashion brand in Nigeria. He offered her ₦140,000 for the modelling job and requested she also promote the brand on her social media pages.

Fems said she agreed after being assured a full production team, including a make-up artist, would be present. She brought a friend along for safety.
Upon arrival at the apartment around 11 a.m., Fems said the place was largely empty. She alleged that the man claimed the make-up artist had stepped out and asked her to take a shower to prepare for the shoot.
“He told me my face was oily and that I needed to freshen up. He then provided a robe for me to change into,” Fems said.
She claimed the man then locked the door under the pretense of showing her how to secure it for the crew, and threatened both women with a knife. They were tied up and allegedly r@ped one after the other.
Fems further alleged that their mobile phones were seized and private files transferred to the suspect. He reportedly threatened to release the files online if they reported the incident.
“He threatened me with my internet presence, saying if I spoke up, he would release my private videos now and in the future,” she said.
The victims reportedly left the apartment between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. the same day. Fems called for the suspect’s arrest to prevent further incidents, noting the incident left her with both physical and emotional injuries.
“Because I was bruised badly down there. I was injured,” she added.
Authorities in Lagos have yet to confirm whether a formal report has been filed. Fems urged anyone with information to come forward to assist with the investigation.
