The Lagos State Government has transferred the sexual assault case involving TikTok user Mirabel (@mirab351) to the Ogun State authorities, following confirmation that the incident occurred outside Lagos.
The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) stated that it reached a close friend of the survivor, who confirmed she had been discharged from the hospital.

The assault reportedly took place on Sunday, February 15, with the survivor posting her experience online the following day, sparking the hashtag #StopRapingWomen.
DSVA clarified that in the spirit of inter-agency collaboration, all information collected was forwarded to the Ogun State Police Command, which is now handling the investigation.
The agency reassured the public of its ongoing commitment to supporting survivors, listing hotlines and channels for reporting sexual violence.
