According to her, she had gained admission into the Lagos State School of Nursing but was unable to raise the required tuition fee of ₦230,000. With the payment deadline fast approaching and no financial support available, she said she and her mother decided to seek help from the church’s leadership.

She explained that they travelled from Abule Egba very early in the morning to the Winners Chapel headquarters in Sango Ota, hoping to meet the presiding bishop before the first service.

According to her account, they arrived around 5 a.m. and waited close to the route where the cleric was expected to pass. She said after waiting for about an hour, they moved forward when David Oyedepoappeared with security personnel.

She alleged that despite their emotional plea, they were unable to get close to him. She further claimed that the bishop advised them to explore the option of a government bursary through the Lagos State Government instead.

The story has since generated mixed reactions online, with some social media users expressing sympathy for the nurse, while others urged caution and balance when discussing religious leaders and personal experiences.
