Earlier assessments by Israeli officials had indicated that Pakpour, Nasirzadeh, and Iran’s intelligence chief were likely eliminated in the coordinated attacks.
The strikes reportedly targeted several high-ranking figures within Iran’s political and military leadership, marking one of the most significant escalations between Israel and Iran in recent years.
According to preliminary reports, the operation also targeted locations linked to Iran’s top leadership, including figures close to Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader, and Masoud Pezeshkian.
However, the full outcome of the strikes remains unclear, and Iranian authorities have yet to issue an official confirmation on the scope of the casualties.
The Israeli military has not publicly commented on specific individuals targeted, but analysts say the scale of the attack suggests a deliberate effort to degrade Iran’s command structure.
The strikes come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, following weeks of military escalation involving Iran, Israel, and their regional allies.
