Ebonyi Gov Suspends Works, Infrastructure Commissioners For Dereliction

Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, Governor of Ebonyi State, has suspended the Commissioner for Works, Stanley Lebechi Mbam, and the Commissioner for Infrastructure Development, Ogbonnaya Obasi Abara, over alleged dereliction of duties.

The suspension was announced in a statement issued on Saturday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor, and made available to journalists in Abakaliki.

According to the statement, the affected commissioners have been directed to immediately hand over all government property in their possession, including official vehicles, to the Secretary to the State Government.
