Yoruba nation activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has expressed his support for President Bola Tinubu’s appointment of Tunji Disu as the acting Inspector General of Police (IGP).
Igboho stated that Disu’s extensive experience in crime management makes him well-suited to tackle insecurity across the country. During a visit to the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Hashimu Argungu, Igboho expressed confidence that Disu’s previous strategic postings and educational background would revitalise the Nigeria Police Force.

“Without a peaceful and enabling atmosphere in society, we cannot achieve any meaningful growth for our country. That is why everyone should cooperate with the government at all tiers to guarantee peace and tranquillity in Nigeria,” Igboho said.
Igboho also commended the efforts of various security agencies and called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
