The command centre is designed to deploy advanced drone technology for surveillance, aerial intelligence gathering and rapid operational coordination, particularly in areas critical to the nation’s economic and security interests.
Pondi said the project demonstrates the company’s commitment to strengthening modern security operations through innovation and technology.
According to him, integrating drone technology into surveillance and response systems will improve the capacity to monitor strategic assets and respond quickly to threats.
The facility will serve as a hub for drone-based monitoring, enabling operators to track activities across wide operational areas while coordinating field responses in real time.
Analysts say such capabilities are crucial in tackling illegal oil activities, maritime threats and protecting key infrastructure.
