The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has revealed three key conditions his country says must be met before the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel can come to an end.

According to the Iranian president, one of the major conditions for ending the war is the payment of reparations by the United States for the destruction caused during the conflict.

He said the conditions were discussed during meetings with the leaders of Russia and Pakistan, both of which have criticised the United States and Israel for initiating the conflict.

In his statement, Pezeshkian said:

“Talking to leaders of Russia and Pakistan, I reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to peace in the region. The only way to end this war—ignited by the Zionist regime and the US—is recognizing Iran’s legitimate rights, payment of reparations, and firm international guarantees against future aggression.”

The three conditions listed by Iran include:

1. Recognition of Iran’s legitimate rights

2. Payment of reparations for damages caused by the war

3. International guarantees preventing future attacks

The statement comes hours after Donald Trump suggested that the conflict could end soon.

Speaking in an interview with Axios, Trump reportedly said there was little left for American forces to target inside Iran.

“There is practically nothing left to target,” Trump said, adding that the war could end quickly if he decides to end it.

The conflict, which reportedly began 12 days ago, has already resulted in significant casualties.

Reports indicate that about 1,300 people in Iran have been killed since the fighting started. Retaliatory strikes by Iran are also said to have killed eight American soldiers and at least 12 people in Israel.

Among those reportedly killed during the attacks was Ali Khamenei, along with more than 160 schoolgirls who died when a missile reportedly struck a school building.

The situation continues to raise concerns among international observers about the risk of a broader regional conflict in the Middle East.
