“The PDP can never die,” Wabara said, noting that efforts were already underway to reposition the party for future electoral success.

The event also featured a stakeholders’ meeting and the inauguration of Local Government Caretaker Committee leaders under the National Working Committee led by Kabiru Tanimu Turaki.

Wabara commended the chairman of the Abia PDP Caretaker Committee, Ikpegbu Emeka-Yellow, for what he described as effective leadership within a short period in office.

He further urged party leaders and members to avoid past mistakes, particularly the practice of godfatherism, and instead promote equal opportunities for all members.

According to him, with committed leadership and active participation of party faithful, the Peoples Democratic Party would regain strength and perform strongly in future elections in Nigeria.
