Burutu APC Women Condole Takeme Over Mother’s Death

Women of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have sent a condolence message to the Council Chairman, Hon. Julius Takeme, over the death of his mother, Mrs. Oruetare Takeme.

Mrs. Takeme died on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Oghara, after a prolonged illness.

In the message jointly issued by Princess Perekeme Beauty, APC Vice Chairman in Burutu, and Ebiere Keyagha, the party’s Women Leader in the local government area, the women described the death of Mrs. Takeme as a painful loss to the family and the community.

The condolence message was also endorsed by women leaders of the eleven wards in the council area and other women holding positions in the local government.

They expressed sympathy with the council chairman and his family, noting that the death of a mother leaves a deep void that is often difficult to fill.

“We received with sadness the news of the passing of your beloved mother, Mrs. Oruetare Takeme. On behalf of APC women in Burutu Local Government Area, we extend our sincere condolences to you and your entire family over this painful loss,” the statement read.

The women prayed for the repose of the deceased and asked God to grant the family the strength and comfort needed to bear the loss.
