Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has said detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, is “far better” than Yoruba nation agitator Sunday Igboho.
Sowore made the remark while addressing journalists after a solidarity rally in Aba, Abia State, calling for Kanu’s release.

He described Igboho as a “nuisance” and argued that individuals like him are sometimes used to discourage Nigerians from speaking out against perceived injustice.

Sowore also criticised what he termed “Amala politics” in Oyo State, describing it as self-serving.
He further stated that if President Bola Ahmed Tinubu truly enjoys the support of most governors, there should be no fear of public protests or rallies
