Iran launched overnight missile attacks on central Israel, including the Ramat Gan area near Tel Aviv, in retaliation for the Israeli airstrikes that killed its security chief Ali Larijani and Basij paramilitary head Gholamreza Soleimani.

The attacks come amid ongoing daily air operations from both the United States and Israel, which have targeted Iranian judiciary and civilian sites in southern and western Iran, resulting in multiple casualties.

Reports also suggest that Israel targeted Iran’s Intelligence Minister, though this remains unconfirmed.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasised that despite the deaths of key officials, the country’s political and institutional structure remains resilient.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant was struck but reported no damage or injuries.

The escalating conflict has raised regional tensions, with repeated missile and drone attacks affecting both Iran and Israel, heightening uncertainty and fear across the Middle East.
