TikToker Peller Faces N395m Lawsuit Over Alleged Assault, Privacy Breach

Popular Nigerian TikToker Peller is facing a lawsuit over alleged verbal assault and invasion of privacy following a confrontation in Lagos.

The legal action was initiated by Osarobo Odigie, who accused the content creator of verbally abusing her during an encounter at Folixxx Lounge.

According to her legal team, led by Bola Osineye of FA Garrick & Co., the incident occurred on January 6, 2026, while she was purchasing food at the lounge.

The situation reportedly escalated into a verbal altercation, which Peller later shared online in a video. He subsequently apologised for posting the clip without her consent.


Legal Claims

In a pre-action letter, Odigie accused Peller of:

• Verbal abuse

• Defamation through online publication

• Invasion of privacy

• Causing emotional trauma and reputational damage

• Triggering cyberbullying

She is demanding N395 million as compensation for the alleged damages.

Her legal representatives have warned that formal court proceedings will begin next week if their demands are not met.

The case could draw significant attention as it touches on social media responsibility, privacy rights, and online conduct in Nigeria.
