The Delta Police Ozoro sexual assault case has taken a major turn as authorities confirmed the arrest of multiple suspects following disturbing videos that surfaced from a local event in Ozoro, Delta State.
The Delta State Police Command has condemned an alleged incident of sexual assault captured in viral videos from Oramudu Quarters in Ozoro, located in Isoko North Local Government Area.

In a statement released on March 20, 2026, the Command described the incident as criminal, inhumane, and a serious violation of human dignity.
Following the report, the Commissioner of Police, Aina Adesola, ordered an immediate and full-scale investigation.
Police authorities confirmed that five suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident, including the alleged organiser of the event, Omorede Sunday.
The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.
According to the police, tactical and investigative teams have been deployed to track down other individuals involved in the incident, with a clear directive to ensure they are brought to justice.
Authorities have urged victims and members of the public with useful information to come forward, assuring that all reports will be handled with strict confidentiality and professionalism.
The Command reiterated its commitment to protecting lives, upholding citizens’ rights, and maintaining public order across the state.
