Barr Suowari Matthew Etelemone becomes a magistrate

The Delta State Judiciary on Wednesday swore in Barr Matthew Etelemone Suowari and nine other lawyers as magistrates in to the state.

Magistrate Suowari, who hails from Kiagbodo, headquarters of Ngilebri kingdom in Burutu local government area, was decorated alongside his colleagues in a ceremony that held in the High Court Complex, Asaba, the Delta state capital.

The ceremony was conducted by the Chief Judge of the state, Hon Chief Judge Marshal Umukoro, who was flanked by a plethora of other high ranking legal officials.

In his inaugural charge, Justice Umukoro the new Magistrates to be worthy characters in the upholding of law and order in the state and beyond.

He particularly beckoned on the Magistrates to see to it that all aspects of the law is maintained by virtue of them discharging their duties.

The ceremony was witnessed by friends, families and colleagues of the sworn in Magistrates.
