Cairo Market in Oshodi, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area of Lagos State, was gutted by fire on Thursday evening.
Spokesperson for Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor, confirmed the incident to newsmen, saying responders have arrived the scene and are battling to contain the fire.
Cause of the raging inferno could not be ascertained as at press time.
