Buhari Postpones Cabinet, Police Council Meetings

Buhari Postpones Cabinet, Police Council Meetings | Daily Report Nigeria

In honour of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and ten other officers, President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the postponement of the Federal Executive Council meeting (FEC).

Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha  made the announcement in a circular on Monday.

The President also directed that the scheduled Police Council meeting for Thursday be postponed.

The National Flag is to fly at half-mast nationwide from Monday to Wednesday.

The government had also declared May 24 as work free-day for members of the Armed Forces.
