Twitter Ban: President Muhammadu Buhari's Arbitrary Use of Power | Daily Report Nigeria

By Nelson Idoro
President Muhammadu Buhari has once again shown his weakness as a leader. For it is no longer news that the (rtd) General Buhari is not a charismatic leader. Those who supported and influenced his coming into power in 2015 and his re-election in 2019 have all been silenced by his demonic quietness at a time when his voice cum action would have re-assured the citizens of protection and freedom as enshrined in the Constitution.

The ban placed on Twitter is just the first step of the President to arbitrarily seal the mouths of Nigerians from pointing out his incapacities as a failed General and one who has persistently done nothing to elevate Nigerians from their sufferings, and advance their yearnings.

You will agree with me that the President and his cohorts have long before now, reportedly planned to shutdown the internet which was the same medium they used in propagating falsehood against the purposeful President (Goodluck Ebele Jonathan) who was assiduously working to give Nigerians a better life.

President Buhari has brought untold hardship on Nigerians, this is evidenced in the daily and persistent increase in the prices of ‘Goods and Services’, increased Insecurity, the high rate of Unemployment, the collapse of the Naira, and yet, he is still forcing Nigerians to be quite in the face of all these happenings.

The likes of Lai Mohammed, Minister of information and culture, Femi Adesina among others, continue to act the scripts of their pay master. Nigerians have now come to the understand that President Buhari is not ill-advised, rather, he is the one orchestrating all the happenings in his government in other to inflict more hardship on Nigerians.

I hereby call on Nigerians to stand behind the joint PDP (People Democratic Party) NASS resolution on the purported ban placed on Twitter by the Buhari led government and in the same vein call on President Muhammadu Buhari to shun his pride by quickly reversing his policy on Twitter before Nigerians forcefully get at him and it becomes too late.
We Say no to Bad Leadership cum Bad Government!
